Imagining a better future means investing in cohesion and development, and nothing can support this vision better than culture and science. With “The City of Muses”, on April 7 and 8, 2025, the G. d’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara will open the doors of its research to the local area, turning the community into an open laboratory of ideas, innovation and sharing.
Speakers for these two days include Prof. Gianfranco Giulioni and Prof. Antonella del Signore, from the Ecowheataly project.
The festival, an integral part of the Assiste Abruzzo project funded by the Abruzzo Region‘s CSP 2000-2020, was created to make knowledge accessible to all, tangible and participatory. Meetings, exhibitions and performances become the meeting point between the most significant scientific research, supported by public funding, traditional knowledge and the most advanced frontiers of knowledge.
In the morning, school and university students are the protagonists of dynamic and engaging activities, exploring science, memory and the future together with the most innovative languages of communication. In the afternoon, university research enters the historic buildings of downtown Chieti, becoming an open dialogue with citizens to share the value of knowledge and its concrete impact.

Each day culminates at the Marrucino Theater, where two artistic performances emotionally address issues such as social cohesion and inclusion, demonstrating that knowledge can also be experienced intensely through art.
This festival is not simply an event: it is a shared vision, a common commitment to a more united, innovative and conscious future.
